Last book I read was the Epic of Gilgamesh. Was pretty short around sixty pages long. Written about 4,000 years ago from Babylon on stone tablets. The story itself centers on the Gilgamesh King of Uruk who along with his companion Enkidu set off on adventures which later result in Enkidu dying which then leads Gilgamesh to go on a quest for eternal life. Really good I liked it.
Right now I'm reading A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin.

Same here! I've only read the first few enteries and I know I get into it more.
Sometime back I read Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter; interesting mas up concept of America's 16th president and his private life hunting vampires. I'm Australian si I wouldn't know much about this figure of American history. I haven't seen the film yet but I might get round to it when it comes on DVD.

The book is better, it blurs the line of fact and fiction nicely. The movie tries that but Timur is an all style director so the substance of the books gets left behind. Its almost like watching Wanted with AL:VH storyline. I am currently reading I Am Grimalkin. Though Im halfway through and will probably be done this time tomorrow.

I recently finished First Blood by David Morell. Gotta say I honestly preferred the film over the book. In the novel Rambo is more of a psychopath and murders cops left and right. In the film he is a more likable character in that you actually feel bad for him by the end.

Just finished "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" by Edgar Allan Poe a few hours ago, and I have to say... I do not really know what to make of it. I mean... this novella/short story is about two mentalists (for lack of a better description) who solve a murder Sherlock Holmes-style in 19th-century Paris. And the murderer is an Orang-Utang... no kiddin'... and the adage "so bad that it is good again" does not even apply here...

I'm not much into reading books, I prefer movie adaptaions lol, although I do enjoy biographies, the last one I read was Not Dead and Not For Sale by Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots).

Starting reading Carrie yesterday by Stephen King. Saw the film many years ago but never bothered with the book until now.

Depends... some are excellent - brilliantly read and everything - and at other times I think to myself "I am probably better off reading the novel myself"...

My personal all-time favorite is this: ... I have to admit that I have never been a big Staragte-fan... I like it, and that's about it... but, OMG, I just love Claudia Black's voice...
