Not to nitpick, but Tremors is a comedy and Aliens is an action film Both of those films encompass more than one genre, and both are amongst other things considered horror films. You are however entitled to your opinion.

True, Tremors and Aliens do (like a lot of films) embrace more than one genre. Tremors is a tongue in cheek horror flick (I have always loved it more for the comedy side but can see the serious elements) and Aliens is an action-sci-fi-horror film.

I loved the Tremors tv series, was truly epic WTFness and Christopher Lloyd was awesome in it.

I like Hellraiser IV as well, it's just not as good as the previous three films and I can't really say I enjoy it as much. Hellseeker and Hellworld were god awful. Not even Lance Hendrickson could have saved the latter one.

Alien: Scared the absolute shit out of me as a kid, and the claustrophobic design still holds up really well today. The Evil Dead: More cheese than you'd find across France, but incredibly entertaining. Also scared the shit out of me when I tried being all manly by watching it at the age of 7. I jumped into the fucking stratosphere at some moments. The Shining: Who doesn't like this? Or at least recognise it? Dawn Of The Dead: Not that crap remake, the original. This bit gave me nightmares for fucking weeks when I was a kid.

Great list, I'm sure it took you a while to make that up. I'll maybe add my favourite top 20 horror films later on, I'll have to have a think although putting them in order is impossible so I'll just list them.
