I wasnt a huge fan of Iron Man, it was a good movie but it still wasnt Iron Man, it was Robert Downy Jr being RDJ. Iron Man 2 was just hella fun and War Machine... and Sam Rockwell.
I really like Daredevil (Directors cut) I think it has an unfair rap from Studios interferance, I liked F4 for what it was. I think Julian was a perfect Doctor Doom in the context of the movie.

Yeah... Sam Rockwell was cool in IM2... but War Machine did not really serve any purpose in IM2 other than being a "backup Iron Man" in case RDJ would not have been available for shooting "Avengers" for whatever reason... And overall... in my view, in the comics, Rhodey's character was much more interesting before he was War Machine (namely when he replaced Tony as Iron Man or fought alongside Tony as a 'second' Iron Man), although the best War Machine-stories per se were those published in the early 90s in Iron Man and West Coast Avengers... his own titles always were garbage, IMO (even the War Machine-series a few years back (around 2008??), where he kinda was the Terminator, sucked...). Regarding F4... well... that Nip/Tuck-guy never really did it for me as Doctor Doom... although it really just might be my being overly critical, as Doom is my second-favorite Marvel-villain (after Magneto)...

Yeah a alot of people hated him as Doom too, but Doom isnt a fave villain of mine as hes just too melodramatic. Given the right writers he improves but hes easily pissed away. I have never been a huge Magneto fan which i put down to over exposure, as a kid when your first getting into it its all about Magneto (or it was for me) so I got over him quickly.
I have a soft spot for Don Cheadle, I liked him as Rhodey, far more than Howard... even if Cheadle isnt quite the visual representation of Rhodey. My huge thing for IM2 was the villain, I like what they did but at the end of the day it was all pointless, the fight against the Crimson Dynamo lasts for like 30 seconds... which are pretty uneventful. Second most underused villain in a Marvel movie. First will always go to Blackheart whom I love darely HOW do you fuck him up as a villain? I love Wes Bently as an actor and he tried his best but.... *sigh*

Haha... yeah... movie-Blackheart sucked hard... ah... no more words of the Ghost Rider-films... I beg ya... And I agree with you regarding Doom... either you love him or not... And yes... occasionally, he is very melodramatic... still, I always thought that a guy who regularly goes up against every Marvel-hero you can think of is just bada$$... When it comes to Magneto... well... when I got into Marvel Comics (when I was like 5 or 6 or 7 years old, that is), I was like "A guy who controls magnetism... how exciting... yawn...", and yes, back then, he used to be in a lot of titles... Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, X-Factor, you name it... but when I got older, I realized that there was... well... something behind his being all villainous... a reason, so to say... because I do not think that a 5 or 6-year-old kid can comprehend the whole magnitude of the term 'holocaust' and all...

Yeah Ive always understood he isnt a straight up villain, and hes doing the bad things for his greater good. Ive just never really clicked with him.

I actually own all of the Rambo films on dvd, which I completely forgot to include in my list. I like the first two quite a bit. 3 and 4 are sort of meh.

Saw it in the theater this year, and I must say that I pretty much enjoyed it for what it is... mindless fun!
