It can't be any worse than this... Sue me, but I like Godzilla '98. Quite a bit.

Godzilla 98 was an abomination on the Godzilla name. Though as a stand alone movie its aight. I think Godzilla fans need to just get over it. It might not be a good Godzilla movie, but yes as a stand alone film it is good. In fact, I am quite tired of people hating on that film. I enjoy it for what it is. A good dumb fun monster movie.

I went to the cinema in 1998 to see that film. Got there late with my brother and we had to sit on the very front row and got awful next ache and could hardly see the screen. That was one of the main reasons I hated the film. I just thought it was too childish and cheesy but I haven't seen it in like 8/9 years or something so maybe I'd see it in a different light as I usually view films differently now I'm older and (slightly) wiser.

I had that same thing happen when I went with my parents to see Jurassic Park 3 .We had to sit the first of or second row from the screen and it was brutal craning our necks up that high for a long period of time.We never did something like that again . The 98 Godzilla film I saw in theaters as well.I knew going in it wasn't gonna be the original Godzilla so I wasn't upset about it.Just felt at the time like a different version of Godzilla but from the same family of monsters. Here's Godzilla 98 enjoy

To all of the Godzilla fans who keep bitching about Godzilla '98, please watch this review. This is from a fellow Godzilla fan. In the video, he even states that the film shouldn't have been called Godzilla but in terms of a giant monster flick it delivers the goods.

Exactly. Just the title needed to be changed.
