Has anyone here attempted to make there own films and etc?
I've been trying my hand for a few years now.
Here some of my work.
This is Welford Exchange, a co-production, I half wrote this due to the guy wanting to make the film was bloody terrible. The movie is a bit of mess to be fair, but I'm still attempting to fix what I can.
Here a few shorts I've done.
The Bag was a Camera Test for my Canon 550d, just a mess about
Wasted was excuse to use the music in the video, it felt like sad drunk music to me
And this is a short film I made for a wee film festival, be warned there terrible voice acting for the first min....
Post some creations you made, I'd be interested in seeing

In college me and my roomates made a few short films just for our own laughs called "Sophomore Slump" they were rediculously bad but we had loads of fun doing them, looking back at them now I certianly cringe. These days I prefer to do more writing and behind the scenes work instead of being on film but here's a glimpse of what we did.

Erm, me and my mates (a few who appear in Shitcase these days briefly) used to make spoof films. I used to write out a full piss taking script, we'd meet up on weekend's if everyone could (or replace that actor with another which led to obvious continuity fuck ups) and film what we could to the worst standard ever, each taking turns in filming scenes even though I claimed the 'director' title. Most things we made compromised of in-jokes, some scenes were filmed when drinking beer and family/girlfriends thought we were all mental. Seriously, you couldn't even deliberately make a film as bad as the shit we made, and we took everything so seriously 6/7/8 years ago. I think it's the fun and memories you get making bad home movies that makes them cool within your little group.

Me and a small group of class mates had to make a film for Spanish based on any well known fairy tales. We all got together one day after school to get this one done since it was our last project for the year. I somehow became the director of this flick as well. Our film was based on the story Little Red Riding Hood & the Big Bad Wolf but due to not being able to find a wolf mask somebody brought a Vampire Costume. So now we had the Big Bad Vampire instead : P I didn't do much acting in it except one line of dialogue were little red riding hood asks me for help. That leads to a fight scene were I beat the Vampire's ass outside our hallway/forest because I'm playing the Huntsman and all huntsman use only hand to hand combat We got a decent grade on it but our teacher said it was too bad to show in it's entirety on the day we saw everyone's films but consented to show the fight scene ;D For a movie made with no budget I say it was very successful directing debut for me .

A couple of years back I had a fan film all worked out based on The Crow. It was half based on the graphical novel featuring quotes and poems from it but everything else was original. Had it all cast, costumed, locations scouted mate I even had it story boarded (was either that or do my actual job). Then life happened and I never got the chance to go through with it.

When I was in media studies, I made a fake trailer for a random Zombie film... with less than zero budget... turned out as well as you expect and I failed course haha.
