I love Sly and I will definatley be going to see this one but I can't help but think that if it wasn't for the success of the Expendables, Bullet to the Head would end up on the Direct to Video rack because really its not a unique film and the plot has been done before. But like I said Sly kicks ass so I hope it'll be a good one.

I would rather watch Bullet to the Head than another Expendables sequel. When I watch the Expendables, it seems like they cast all these former action stars, then just make up the screenplay up as the go along. Expendables was a cool idea at first. But it doesn't need multiple sequels.

I believe that one of the reasons why the Expendables is a success is cleary not the plot nor the actors in it (although that is a huge help) its the fact that there really is no big over the top action films being released to the global market like there was in the 80's and 90's. Today's market consits of countless bad Horror films and butcherd remakes of classics and god aweful comedies aimed at the 16-college aged people. The Expendables offered up a throwback to when action movies were fun and didn't need an extencive plot to be enjoyable I love action films for what they are, mindless violence, explosions, one liners, and an over the top hero too which no person can really relate to because were not supposed to, its all about popcorn and filling our saturday afternoons with some cheap thrills.

There are only a few movies each year that I want to see at the theater. Can't wait for Machete Kills

Bullet to the Head will be a decent movie I reckon, I reckon there'll be some cool action scenes in there and Sly will kick arse. Apparently he's going to do a comedy boxing film with Di Nero next year. That sounds lame but ah well.

While I'm still anticipating The Hobbit films, next year I'm really looking forward to Neil 'District 9' Blomkamp's Elysuim and Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim. I also anticipate Django Unchained andCloud Atlas early next year for an Australian release.
