Tekken - I do not understand why this film gets so much hate... I mean... true, the film did not follow the games' storyline (I played most of them)... but that's what makes it good, in my opinion: It deviates SO MUCH from the games that it basically creates a whole new 'universe' of its own... so what?!
As I said... the film is not perfect, but enjoyable: 6,5/10... maybe even 7/10...

Forgotten Silver - A Fake Documentary on a Fictional New Zealand Film Maker 'Colin McKenzie', A really well told story that could fool the most persistant viewer into thinking this guy really was a fogotten film pioneer. Its one of Peter Jackson's mid 90s efforts before he develped LOTR, I highly recomend it 8/10

Friday The 13th. The original one, not the remake or one of the increasingly laughable sequels.
It's pretty tame, but I have to admit to enjoying this film every time I do get around to watching it. It's better than ludicrous and inexplicable splashes of blood everywhere that we get later, but I can't help but crack up toward the end with the stupid "kill her mommy!" nonsense. That stuff just sends me into hysterical fits of laughter.

Last movie i watched was "Nothing But Trouble" man what a fucking weird film. It has Dan Aykroyd as a old creepy judge and john candy as a woman living in a failed mined out town. I strongly suggest Johnny Shitcase reviews this because its so awful although its kinda funny at parts, the really fat mutant babies just make it that extra bit messed up

Watched 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' again last night. Its still really good with very immersive production effort and well told narrative structure. I still cannot wait for the sequels - 8/10

Batman & Robin, while talking over Skype.
I can't really say that either of us were actually 'watching' it though; we were just laughing at how absolutely fucking horrible it is.

The Dark Hours (2005)- Pretty decent Canadian horror film. Although it was kind of short and open ended. I'm a big fan of finality so if your going to have an ambiguous ending it better be good. 7/10

Coffee and Cigarettes, The Title says it all, Its a numer of sequences of people drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. Jim Jarmush really does know how to make a converstion stand out especilly if its done by famous actors made to look like ordinary folk. amirable, quirky and very entertaining. 8/10
