Iron Patriot armor looks pimp, not a fan of Iron Man's colour scheme though.

Well, Iron Man's new armor is obviously based on the Bleeding Edge-armor as well as his newest armor (which features a mix of black and gold as a color sheme), hence the great amount of golden parts... although in the comics, the Bleeding Edge-armor did not nearly feature as much gold: Still, I agree with The Jester... a little too much gold... but still miles better than the bastard child of War Machine and the Iron Patriot... well... I am not a fan of the idea to basically make War Machine the Iron Patriot... Norman Osborne is - or rather was - Iron Patriot and that's it... just because it looks cool does not mean it has to be shoehorned into a film totally unrelated to the storyline in which this color scheme first appeared, IMO. However, overall, I am really looking forward to the film.

Yeah, I wish they would have called it something different than Iron Patriot but it still looks pretty. Iron Man's armor looks fine, just too much gold, but Im sure we will see atleast one other mark.

Oh... be sure of it: collider.com/iron-man-3-new-armor-mark-47/193042/Regarding War Machine: Well... the original Iron Patriot looked cool... the design (i.e. the alignment of the three main colors blue, red and white) was less intricate... Iron Man 3's War Machine-gone-Iron Patriot sports a variation of that color scheme which is a bit too detailed, IMO, so that it almost looks slightly goofy... but as I said... to each his own... In the end, it is just a matter of personal taste...

The more detailed scheme works better for War Machine (I would have gone with the grey silver but hey) considering the second movie and the events of the Avengers, it works on the Pro Patriotism level which I would guess Shane Black would be going for. Black is a rather intelligent writer and director.. Favreau isnt exactly the thinking mans director.

Yup, I also prefer the classic color scheme... Tony: "Rhodey... what's with the candy wrapper-colors?" Rhodes: "Well... in light of our... ummhh... great victory in the battle of New York... well... my superiors..." Tony: "Wait a minute..." Rhodes: [casts a wry look at Tony] Tony: "Yeah... right... about the battle in New York... where were you again?" Rhodes: [casually brushes some dust off his armor] Tony: [stares at Rhodes intently] Rhodes: "Look... can you... not be, well, your charming self for one second here...?!" Tony: "No...?" Rhodes: [slides down the front section of his helmet and severs all communication channels] Tony: "Jarvis... your turn." Jarvis: "Hack complete... audio connection established." Tony: "Oh, and by the way... gimme back my suit" OK... seriously... you could be right... although I have has it with that patriotism-thing since Captain America...

Is Scarlett Johansson going to be reprising her role as the Black Widow?

Nope. (As far as I know.)
Moreover, I see no reason for her to be in it anyways... I mean, since they're doing the Extremis-story and all...

Yeah... read that too... still, I see no reason for her to be in this one, either... since she does not appear in the original story... but, oh well...
