I watched "Ghost Rider - Spirit of Vengeance" yesterday... seriously... I like the comic book and I like the first film as well... but this is just shit... as simple as that...

Superman Vs The Elite -6/10- Was alright, not the best DCOVA but not the worst.

Kick-Ass - Two thumbs up not so against the Carrie remake as that girl Chloe Moretz has done very well in the roles I've seen her in. Really enjoyed the duo here in Big Daddy (Nic Cage) and Hit Girl (Chloe).

The Unnameable 1 and 2. Definite Shitcase review fodder esp 2 for John Rhys Davies and David Warner. Elf Man. Was a good little family film and worth it for Jeffrey Combs usual over the topness.

"Friday the 13th - Part 6: Jason Lives" ... it may be trash, but I dunno... I like this one... especially when the sheriff shoots Jason like a million times with his shotgun without realizing that Jason cannot be killed that easily...

I loved the Derp look on the cop's face, and if it was me after the first few rounds of regular handgun ammo I would run the fuck away!

... yeah... but Jason's victims never seem to realize that - from part 6 onwards - he cannot be killed... ... even Freddy Krueger tried it and failed miserably... Go Jason!!!!

I agree. Although I think that the "Remake"-Jason is a new, rather decent take on the character, I still prefer the original. I especially like the "Freddy vs Jason"-Jason... don't ask why... I just like the overall look and behaviour of this particular 'version' of Jason...

Looker (1981). Enjoyed it greatly, despite some lousy editing, acting and the cringe-worthy tache of the lead henchman.
Followed by...
Vamp (1986). Cheesy enough for my taste, but lacks action.

...Superman IV.
I just had to remind myself of how ball-achingly shit it really is, and how god-awful the effects are. They make the drawn-on phaser effects from 60's Star Trek look like real laserbeams.
